Walpole, MA - Walpole Express Goaltender Connor Rodericks has committed to Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. for the fall of 2016. The 6’2", 185 lbs. netminder from Buzzards Bay, Mass. is one of the elite goaltenders at this level. He’ll protect the crease for the Gulls, which play in the very competitive ECAC Northeast Conference.
“Connor came to us last year from the Portsmouth Abbey School and was able to put up monster numbers in his first season with the Express," said Express Head Coach John Lounsbury. "Connor returned this year ready to take the lead and has once again proved to be one of the best goalies in the league. Not only is Connor a great goaltender, off the ice he is one of the best kids I have ever coached. He is going to be incredibly difficult to replace."
When choosing a college Connor visited both Division 1 and 3 schools, finding the perfect fit with Endicott College. “I am very excited to further my education and hockey career at Endicott College,” Rodericks said. “I would like to thank my family and everyone who has helped me along the way. I especially want to thank the Walpole Express for their support over the past two seasons, Without them this opportunity would not have been possible."
“Our Express family extends hearty congratulations to Connor and his family,” Lounsbury said.
