Walpole, MA  - Walpole Express’ Brian Brooks has committed to Suffolk University in Boston for the fall of 2016. The 5’8”, 175 lbs. center from Canton, Mass. is a crafty, smooth-skating forward able to create instant offense. At Suffolk he’ll join former Express forward Stanton Turner and be a welcome addition to the Rams, which play in the ECAC Northeast.

“Brian came to Walpole via the Winchendon School (NEPSAC),” said Express Head Coach Jon Lounsbury. “Since joining us he has come a long way. He always brings a positive attitude, is willing to listen and has great playmaking ability. I know Brian is going to add a lot of offensive creativity at the next level.”

“I would like to thank my family and everyone who has supported me along the way,” Brooks said. “I am very excited to pursue my dream of playing college hockey at Suffolk. I couldn't have achieved this goal without the Walpole Express and I want to thank the staff for everything I have learned this year."

“Everyone within the Express organization wishes Brian and his family best of luck moving forward,” Lounsbury said.
