Walpole, MA  - Walpole Express forward Conor Ferrera has committed to Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH for the fall of 2015. The 5’10”, 165 lb. center from Cotto De Caza, Calif. is a smooth skater who will provide the Panthers with offense and skill through the middle of the ice.

Plymouth State University is an NCAA Division III school playing in the MASCAC. They currently sit in first place in the division and look to make another NCAA playoff appearance this season.

“I am incredibly excited for Conor,” said Express Coach Jon Lounsbury. “He is a young man who works incredibly hard day in and day out to make sure he is ready for the next level. I have had the pleasure of coaching him over the past few years and Plymouth is the perfect fit for him. There is no doubt in my mind that Conor will make an impact on the school’s hockey program as a freshman.”

“I’m extremely excited to commit to Plymouth State to play hockey in the fall,” Ferrera said. “I would like to thank my coaches, past and present, for supporting me all these years. And of course I would like to thank my family, who have long been my biggest supporters and who have allowed me to pursue my dreams of playing college hockey.”
Everyone within the Express organization wishes Conor and his family best of luck in the coming seasons.
