Walpole, MA - The Walpole Express are proud to announce the commitment of Max Burum to St Anselm College. St. Anselm is located in Manchester, NH and plays in the NE10.
“Saint Anselm College to me is a place of hard working, courteous students built off divine integrity," said Burum. "In the long run, Saint A’s will provide for me the tools to be successful in both the workforce and in the waking day. I will be in good hands with Coach Rocha to develop into the student-athlete that I dreamed of becoming.”
Express Coach Cody Campbell said he was able to use Burum in all kinds of situations. ”Max has been a Swiss Army knife for us. He’s played up and down our line up and played on both sides of special teams all season."
Coach Campbell continued, "Having a player like him in your group is invaluable, because as a coach you know you can put him in any situation and get productivity from whatever role he is playing that night. I am so excited for Max and his family and can’t wait to see the success he has at the college level.”
"Playing under Coach Campbell this year hasn’t been the easiest road traveled by any means," said Burum. "He asks a lot from each and every player, but if the player truly buys into the team, they find a momentous amount of success."
"I bought into the culture from the jump, and loved the intensity Cody had in regards of developing the player and the team into winning. Playing for the Walpole Express has skyrocketed my hockey career greatly and I couldn’t think of a better junior organization to spend my final year at," said Burum.
Burum continued by thanking his family saying, “I’d like to thank my Mom, Dad, and sister Rachael for trusting the process and giving me the opportunity to further my hockey career.”
Please join the Express organization in congratulating Max Burum on his NCAA College Commitment.
