EWHC: Furfari Commits to Sacred Heart

Elizabeth Furfari

Walpole, MA  - Elizabeth Furfari of Wrentham, MA has committed to Sacred Heart University where she will suit up for the 2018-2019 season. The Pioneers play in the DI Independent league.

“Elizabeth is workhorse. She plays the game really hard. She is a gritty player who has a lot of skill and speed and can find the back of the net. With her strong work ethic, she is always looking to be the best that she can be, pushing herself in every single drill at practice and every time she hits the ice during a game,” said Coach Doherty.

“Elizabeth always has such a positive attitude. The team really enjoys her presence because she is always lightening up the mood. She is also a motivator. She encourages the team to work their hardest and to never let up," said Coach Doherty.

Elizabeth cannot wait to begin her collegiate career next season saying, “I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me along the way and I’m excited to start a new phase of my life at Sacred Heart University”.

“Congrats Elizabeth! The entire Express staff wishes you nothing but the best," added Doherty.
