EHL: Express Rebound with 6-1 Win over Sea Hawks

Walpole, MA  - The EHL team rebounded nicely this week as they improved their record to 5-2 on the season with a 6-1 victory over the Total Athletic Seahawks.

On Friday afternoon the Seahawks came to Rodman Arena for a 1:00pm face off against a well prepared Express club.  The Seahawks would be the first to get on the board off a broken play in the neutral zone.  After that the game switched in favor of the Express.  The play would go back and forth until Ryan Campbell (Scituate, MA) opened the scoring off a back door Trevor Pray (Tonowanda, NY) pass.  Moments later, Will Lebel (St-Bruno-de-montarville, QC) notched the game winner, a rebound off a Chris Gratton ( Pottstown, PA) shot.

The Express would never look back as Chris Peters (Rochester, NY), Larry Niland (Lido beach, NY) and Josh Grasso (Wolfeboro, NH) would notch their first goals of the season.   “It was a good bounce back game for u,s” said Coach Lounsbury.  “We certainly need to improve in a lot of areas, but we are moving forward with great progress.”

Next up for the Express is a road Game Tuesday at Valley Forum vs the Jr Warriors.
