EHL: Express Shutout for First Loss of Season

Walpole, MA  - The Walpole Express EHL team came up short this past Saturday at Rodman Arena as the NH Avalanche came away with a 2-0 win.

Max Flynn had another strong outing in net but the offense couldn’t get in a rhythm to get the team on the board.  The Avalanche struck early in the first period and that would be all they needed to take a gritty road win home with them.

“We unfortunately are going to have games like this where we struggle to find a way to score,” said Coach Lounsbury. “I thought the team competed but didn’t work to take advantage of the middle of the ice. Each game is a battle and we have to figure out ways to score.”

The EHL team is home Wednesday September 27th for a 1:00pm game vs the Boston Jr Rangers.
