EHL: Forward Mike Wise Commits to Assumption College

Mike WiseWalpole, MA  - Walpole Express forward Mike Wise has committed to Assumption College in Worcester, MA for the fall of 2017. The 5’8, 175 lbs. forward from Grafton, MA is a very skilled forward who has the ability to create offense each time he’s on the ice. He’ll be a great addition to the Hounds, which play in the NCAA NE-10 Division.

“Mike has been with us since I came to Walpole a few years ago and has grown so much as a person and player,” said Lounsbury. “He competes like crazy each day and has the drive to do whatever it takes to get to the top. I have no doubt he will have a successful NCAA career at Assumption,” added Lounsbury.

“I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to pursue my goal of playing college hockey, without them none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank Coach Lounsbury and the entire Express staff for developing me as a hockey player and a person. I am excited to spend my next 4 years at Assumption College,” said Wise.

“Our Express family extends big congratulations to Mike and his family,” Lounsbury said.
