(Walpole, Mass) -- The Walpole Express signed six new players to the Jr. A team for the 2009-2010 season. Five of the players participated in the Jr. B National Championship game in April.

The new recruits from Central Penn Panthers are: ‘92 defenseman Jake Brightbill; '90 forward Wes Heinle; and '91 forwards Dillan Fox and DJ Dinnison. In addition, the Express added '91 forward and Massapequa, N.Y native Frank Posillico from Suffolk PAL. Posillico spent the better part of last season playing for the NY Applecore of the EJHL before joining PAL for its late-season national championship run.

"We are pleased with the skill and depth that all of these players will contribute to our line-up,” said Express Coach Mark Kumpel. “They are all dedicated players who have the work ethic and desire to reach the college level, and they are all good citizens."

The Express also signed '89 defenseman Evan Yanovitch from South Boston, Mass. who last season played at Winchedon Prep. "Evan will be a major impact player for us from the start,” said Express GM/Coach Tony Dalessio. “He has size and skill and will be looked upon to make and instant improvement on our backline."
