(Walpole, MA) -- Seven Walpole Express players and one alternate -- more players than any other team -- have been chosen for this season's AJHL North All-Star Team. Express Head coach Mark Kumpel will serve as the North team's head coach.

“It’s great to see our players get the recognition they deserve," said Express GM/Coach Tony Dalessio. "These players have worked tremendously hard and are a big reason our team holds the top spot in our division.”

The following Express players have been named to the team:

Forwards
Lou Malvasi, Middletown, N.J.
Steve Charest, Amqui, Quebec

Matt Harrington, Northport, Fla.
Cody Armstrong, Medfield, Mass.

Defense
Ben Oskroba, Tempe, AZ
Chris Comprosky, Pompano Beach, Fla.
Brian Greene, Falmouth, Maine, 1st * (Alternate Defenseman)

Goalie
Derek Kump, Falmouth, Maine

Harrington, Charest and Kump will all be making their second appearance in the All-Star game. (Charest was unable to participate last season due to injury.) The game is set for Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 at the Iorio Arena in Walpole, Mass. Face off is at 1:40 pm.
