Credits much of success

| (Walpole, MA) -- Former Walpole Express
defenseman Brendan Jamison, has accepted a scholarship to play at
Division 1 Robert Morris University (RMU) for the 2009-2010 season.
Jamison, a native of Pittsburgh suburb Allison Park, Pa., chose
nearby RMU over offers from Clarkson and the University of Vermont.
Jamison’s dad is an RMU alum.
Despite leaving the Express after the 2007-2008 season, Jamison
credits much of his success to the Express organization and his
experience in Walpole. “I owe a lot of my success to the Express
because I feel that I improved most as a player last season with
Walpole,” Jamison said. “The set up the team has is
arguably the best in junior hockey. It allowed me to train whenever
I pleased, both off and on the ice, and it made a difference in
my game.”
“I want to thank the Express and especially owner Rob Barletta
for everything that he and the organization have done for me,”
Jamison added. “Even though I didn’t play with the Express
this season, I am committed to helping the program now and in the
future.”
Express Owner Rob Barletta points to Jamison as an example of what
can be accomplished with the right combination of talent, desire,
support and resources. “Brendan is a very strong player and
while with the Express he worked diligently, honed his skills, and
took advantage of the many resources available through our program,”
Barletta said. “I want to offer him congratulations from the
entire Express organization and I look forward to following his
collegiate career.”
