Commits to D1 Bentley University

Express blueliner Ben Oskroba has committed to play Division
1 hockey at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. for the fall
of 2010. Bentley is a member of NCAA DI Atlantic Hockey. The
Tempe, Arizona native becomes the second Express player to
make a DI commitment for next season. Currently the leader
among defenseman in the AJHL for goals, Oskroba -- who was
Ben was recently named to the AJHL All-Star game in his first
season -- has been the backbone of the the Express' powerful
defense. According to his coaches, he is a key reason for
the team's league low of 44 goals against.
“Congratulations to Ben and his family," said
Coach Tony Dalessio. "He is a big, strong kid who will
make an immediate impact at Bentley. Mark (Kumpel) and I are
thrilled for him. Ben came to us just this season and has
worked tirelessly to improve his game. He is a leading contributor
to our success throughout the first half.”
