(Walpole, MA) -- Walpole Express Goaltender Derek Kump will suit up for Atlantic Hockey NCAA Division 1 Holy Cross after committing to the respected Worcester, Mass. school. Kump is the leading goaltender in the AJHL this season with 1.61 goals against average, .941 save % and 13 wins. He was recently named to his second AJHL All-Star team as the starting goaltender.

"This a great honor for Derek," said Express Coach Tony Dalessio. "He has been the best goaltender in the AJHL for the past two seasons and has worked extremely hard on and off the ice to achieve his goal of playing DI ice hockey at a great academic institution."
