Kump Commits
to D1 Holy Cross

Walpole Express Goaltender Derek
Kump will suit up for Atlantic Hockey NCAA Division 1
Holy Cross after committing to the respected Worcester, Mass.
school. Kump is the leading goaltender in the AJHL this season
with 1.61 goals against average, .941 save % and 13 wins.
He was recently named to his second AJHL All-Star team as
the starting goaltender.

Tony Dalessio. "He has been the best goaltender in the
AJHL for the past two seasons and has worked extremely hard
on and off the ice to achieve his goal of playing DI ice hockey
at a great academic institution."

of their players," Kump said. "Coaches Kumpel and
Dalessio go to great lenghts and spare no expense to ensure
Express players have the best opportunity to fulfill their

to thank my parents for all they have done for me the past
19 years and for supporting me through all my endeavours."
