The Walpole Express home rink, the Iorio Arena is located on Route 1 and is minutes away from Interstate 95, 93 and 495. It is also just minutes away from New England Patriots home Gillette Stadium. With its convenient location the Iorio Arena is only a two hour drive of 20+ Division 1 colleges and more than 50+ Division 3 colleges. The Iorio Arena home of the Walpole Express is the best facility in Junior Hockey on the East Coast. With a private team locker-room, coaches changing rooms, coaches offices and even an Express Logo at center ice makes it tough to beat. The Iorio also hosts an onsite Health and Fitness Center for all players and staff located on the first floor of the Player Dorms. The Walpole Express practices 5 times a week for 2 hour sessions and will be a part of 4-6 major showcases and will also host their own college showcase which last season drew more than 40 college scouts.

Since the opening of its doors, the Iorio Arena has been focused on one objective: helping individuals fulfill a dream.

The Iorio was Originally built as a training facility for the United States Women's Olympic Hockey team, the arena has since seen many Olympic Gold Medalists pass through its doors.

Not only does the arena accommodate aspiring hockey players, but with two ice sheets - one NHL sized and one Olympic sized - figure skaters and speed skaters flourish here as well.

The Iorio Arena also serves the community, as it plays home to numerous high school hockey clubs, select programs, summer camps, and competitive tournaments.

The Iorio Arena also owns and operates the newest member of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League. Beginning in the 2006 -2007 season the Walpole Express joined the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League with the Walpole Express B Team.

A fourteen million dollar arena complex, Iorio boasts a fully-furnished dormitory, a comprehensive fitness and training center and a fully stocked Pro Shop - making it one of premier facilities for athletes in New England.

Iorio arena recently underwent an extensive renovation that included a full service restaurant and arcade. In addition new scoreboards, lighting and ceilings were installed.

The Walpole Express have their own state of the art Players and Coaches Locker Rooms with individual stalls.

// EXPRESS DORMS

At the front of the Iorio Arena property is a furnished dormitory facility that was used to house Olympic skaters and other visiting guests. It now hosts the Walpole Express Junior Hockey Club. In a college dorm type setting, Express players will see first hand what it is like to live in a college dorm atmosphere.
Located in front of the arena on Route 1 in Walpole, the facility boasts a common area with plush leather couches, a wide screen television with satellite TV used for off-ice instruction. It also has a Ping-Pong table, Pool Table and a basketball hoop.

Spread out across the entire third floor of the facility are spacious dorm rooms, each equipped with its own private bathroom. A laundry room is also present on the 3rd floor.

As a facility built to host and train world-class athletes, the Iorio Players Dormitory also has a comprehensive Health and Fitness Center convientetly located on the basement floor of the building. Being this building is used for trained athletes the building is highly secured. Not only is a key or key code required for entry into the building, but to further gain access to the third floor rooms, a key card is needed to operator the elevator.

To further ensure the safety of Iorio guests and the Express players, twenty-four hour closed-circuit surveillance cameras monitor every entrance and exit of the facility.
